the hostel stayed at was a very clean hostel with helpful staff that are willing to go out of their way to help in any circumstances. I wouldn't think twice in staying at this hostel and would recomend to anyone visiting perth..... Hostelworld booking by Matthew

This property is big, clean and nice & quiet.. But if you do want to meet lots of people & have a bit more fun it won't be for you. Its nice to stay there if you want a nice sleep & clean facilities in a good location. Hostelbookers booking by Samantha

We're a mature couple and this was our first stay in a hostel. Couldn't fault it. Excellent value for money, good facilities and incredibly helpful staff. Would recommend it to anyone. Hostelbookers booking by Sandra

A good hostel. Peaceful at night time, good big kitchen and TV room. Lots of entertainment available (i.e. music and movies) but it was quiet when I was there even though full, so it seems like the fun is for the guests to create, as opposed to it being spoon fed as in other hostels. At last! we were beginning to give up in Perth - after trying 4 other hostels we decided to pay slightly more and go to Emporers Crown. It is the best hostel in Perth without a doubt. It is clean, modern and the staff are great. Good facilities and very close to the centre.

Great location for the city, chilled out atmosphere, clean and tidy. No bar in the hostel so quiet in comparison to some others but you can take your own drinks and sit in the courtyard. Really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again.

It was clean and spacious with good internet connections and lockers in each room. Quiet enough to get an early night but buzzy enough to have a good night out and meet other backpackers.

Spotless accommodation in a perfect location. Not cheap though. Most of the staff - especially the manager - were very helpful. However, more could have been done to integrate the travellers staying there with a view to making their stay more fun. That apart, a great place to stay for a few nights.

Very quiet location. Not oriented toward parties, so if you want to sleep and go, that's the place to be! People were very friendly though, and the staff was very helpful...Definitely recommended for mature people seeking a quiet place to stay...

Being so convenient to Perth City and transport - A1 location - The Queen size bed should not have been directly below window and air con - when window was open we had unpleasant gas smell come into the room during the night and when window not open had to have air-con on and blow directly over us in bed which was unpleasant; owners need to shift bed into another position in room so the head is not directly under aircon or open window; apart from that, really excellent room with ensuite. I was very impressed! Everyone was so friendly and helpful to me in my time of need! I was stuck in Perth all day waiting for a night flight and everyone was so accommodating.
